The We Jazz Summer Sessions at mbar begin with a live performance by the 11-piece Mikko Sarvanne Hip Company, who will celebrate the release of their debut album.

The ensemble is a collection of some of Finland's top young jazz talent and their live shows display Sarvanne's knack at creating memorable compositions, the band's effortless team play and their sheer joy of playing together. Mikko Sarvanne Hip Company was awarded the "We Jazz Rising Star" accolade in December 2014.
